All
man-made items break sooner or later. Our "No
Bull" Full Year Warranty is intended to cover the system
you purchase from us for any "breakdown" during the
warranty period as a result of the failure during normal and
proper use of any hardware component supplied by us or as a
result of improper workmanship on our part.
All
custom-built computers and other new equipment purchased from
CyberEast are covered against
defects in any hardware component or in our workmanship for a
period of one full year from date of purchase. If your
system fails, you don't have to ship it to some far-away
location for repair service. Your warranty claim will be
courteously handled by our in-store service department with as
little inconvenience as possible to you. Our "no
Bull" Full Year Warranty covers any necessary replacement
parts as well as labor.
Exclusions:
Warranty coverage specifically excludes, among other things,
the following items, incidents and occurrences:
Removable media, software programs, data or other files, or
the repair, reconfiguration, reinstallation, reconstruction or
re-entry of any program or data associated thereof. This
exclusion of coverage is complete and applies without regard
to the cause of any equipment or software failure or
malfunction.
Examples
of other items, incidents or occurrences excluded from
warranty coverage include, but are not limited to, the
following:
Consumable items, including but not limited to, diskettes,
tapes and other types of removable storage media; printer
ribbons, cartridges or toner units; mouse pads, head or lens
cleaners, accessories or any item of the general class that
includes those designed and produced with the assumption that
it will be replaced as needed by the consumer.
The repair, replacement or restoration of equipment or any
component damaged by electrical surge, whether induced by
lightning or otherwise, brown-out, power failure, faulty
grounding or any other electrical-related influence.
The repair, replacement or restoration of equipment or any
component damaged by magnetic field, liquid or any other
potentially damaging factor or substance introduced into the
operating environment of the equipment.
The repair, replacement or restoration of equipment or any
component damaged by abuse, improper use, neglect, lack of
proper and reasonable maintenance, or by the use of the
equipment or any component in a manner or in an environment
not conducive to the proper care and maintenance of the
equipment.
The training of the user in the proper operation of the
operating system or other software applications, or the repair
of any malfunction resulting from any corrupted, deleted,
removed or otherwise modified program or file.
The cost of transporting or shipping any equipment or
component(s) for warranty service. It is the customer's
responsibility to pay any cost associated with transporting or
shipping any affected item(s) to our New Bern service
department as well as to pay any cost associated with the
transport of the item(s) back to the customer.
Any loss or damage, direct or consequential, resulting in
whole or in part from the improper performance of
malfunctioning equipment, components or software; from
the loss of use of malfunctioning equipment, components or
software for any length of time for any reason whatsoever;
or from the loss, damage or unavailability of personal or
business records, data, programs or any other type of file or
information as a result of malfunctioning equipment,
components or software.
Other reasonable restrictions, exclusions and limitations of
warranty coverage or other liability on the part of CyberEast
may apply. Please contact our service manager for any

Our
Objective
In effect, our "No Bull" Full Year
Warranty is intended to guarantee that the hardware
we sell to you will be expertly repaired or replaced, at
no cost to you for parts or labor, in the event
that any covered equipment fails or malfunctions as a result
of defects in any hardware component or in workmanship in the
course of the normal and proper use for which it was intended.
